We can give advice on how best to avoid family provision claims, how to take care of your dependents, including how to set up testamentary trusts or grant life estates in property.

If you are an executor named in a Will, we can help you complete the documents involved in applying for probate of the deceased estate, and to deal with any claims on the estate by negotiation, alternative dispute resolution, or litigation as a last resort. If the deceased has passed away without a Will (called intestacy) and you are entitled to be an applicant to administer the estate we can explain the process to you and arrange for the appointment so that the assets may be dealt with.
